on behalf of the multinational corporation United Fruit Company (today's Chiquita Brands International) and the U.S. government to facilitate the successful overthrow (see Operation PBSUCCESS) of the democratically elected president of Gautemala, Jacobo Arbenz Guzman in 1954.
His PR offspring are working on the Honduras coup on behalf of President Obama today, but let's call it by it's old name....propaganda and then we can properly put Mr Obama's public utterances on this matter into some sort of meaningful perspective, I think.
