In the aftermath of worldwide celebrations around the election of Barack Obama, it is time to ponder the significance of this event in the cold light of day.
Obama's meteoric rise to fame from being first sworn into the US Senate in 2005 to becoming president elect yesterday is being spun in the world's corporate media as evidence of the American Dream in action.
The Obama PSYOP has been meticulously manipulated in every detail from standing the no-hope McCain/Palin opposition as the repository of white racist, redneck America's electoral last gasps....to parading around this young photogenic icon of manifest destiny in the shape of the dashing Prince of Hope, Barack Obama.
The contrasts between an elderly confused old 'hero' of America's lost war in Vietnam and his stereotype celebrity obsessed, spendthrift, superficial and equally confused running mate on the one hand.....and a sexed up young stud on the other could not fail in the land of Fox's American Idol.
Obama has been manufactured and marketed by the powerful US image making industry in what amounts to a relaunch event of America plc...the Great American Wet Dream.
Women on the BBC Radio 5 phone-in programmes yesterday were in tears over the victory of their sexual fantasy figure Obama, it was pure hysteria here and this is reduced by a factor of ten compared with the reaction in America, you actually can smell the ammonia from here.
But what lies behind this scene shift in the Obama Story Hollywood's next mega-blockbuster, why has Obama been catapulted from obscurity to Commander in Chief of the military industrial complex that is America in just 3 years?
The background to the PSYOP is that the US government, the faceless planners and policy makers that really do control America.... were like everyone else aware of the damage Bush was doing to the image of the US as a global 'good guy'.
This was a clear ploy of contrasts here in which Bush has played his part effectively in creating the clamour for change that Obama has been groomed to satisfy.
The immediate conclusion is that the PSYOP has worked like a dream splitting the growing voices of opposition while taking a lead from AIPAC playing the race card.
This works by denouncing every criticism of Obama as 'racist' just like AIPAC denounce every criticism of Israel as 'antisemitic', this element of the PSYOP was heavily played in the run up to the election, when we were told that some polled Obama supporters would revert to the racists they really are in the privacy of the polling station.
This part of the PSYOP was to establish that the only objection to Obama and his policies (such as they are are) is on the basis of his race and that message was intended to stick just like the AIPAC demonisation strategy it is carefully based upon.
So yes, Bush talked down America, Obama talked it up, McCain carried the reactionary vote up a dead end and Palin just acted the fool, to divert the attention of those sound bite junkies that think everything that sparkles is gold.
Bush was made to look stupid because he had a stupid script to follow, granted he had all the right characteristics for that role anyway, but he exchanged credibility which he had very little of from the start, for treasures beyond his wildest dreams...... an offer he could not refuse.
Now Bush is already history, he has never been mentioned here throughout the whole spectacular election pantomime.
He won't be impeached or brought to book for his many crimes against humanity, because he has already been forgotten like a rapidly fading nightmare at the coming of the new American dawn.
In Obama the conscience of America has been vindicated.
The amnesia industry is working at full tilt and every future Obama war is already set up to be a 'just' one, whose only detractors are racists.
These are the ambitious plans of the current PSYOP and in the immediate afterglow of Obama's victory it can be said to have been very successful, the backroom boys and girls are slapping each others backs behind locked doors as I type.
They have, they believe done it... Obama is the black Tony Blair that they have been working on since the start of Bush's last stolen term of office.
In the effort to fragment opposition groups in America by introducing a potent combination of race, meritocracy and the youth and beauty ethic into the equation, the purpose has been to make dissent an old and ugly concept.
So for the domestic consumer this strategy has bought time, it will be interesting how often the notion of 'civil war' is insinuated into the sound bites. to be drip fed to the American population in the coming months.
This spectre is an important component of the PSYOP.
But all this still does not explain why Obama has been chosen and why America had to find an African-American president in order to pursue it's geopolitical global objectives post-Bush.
For clues about that we have to look at Africa itself, it's relationship with China and it's future growing importance to Anglo-American imperialism and the Great Game with Russia.
If you are curious why every mother's son and global sex symbol that is now the corporate logo of resurgent America had to be black.... just consider Africa today.
Africa has a low profile in the western media, it is characterised by AIDS, corruption, drought, poverty and inter-tribal conflict.
Clearly as a continent Africa is crying out for the sort of democracy that the Anglo-American Empire exports around the world as a pretext for controlling the politics and economy of wayward 'rogue' states.
Prof. Peter Erlinder writing in a paper published by Global Research has noted:-
"In fact, evidence has long existed that the war in the Eastern Congo , between 1996 and today, has little or nothing to do with “ethnicity” or capturing “genocidaires.”
"Like “weapons of mass destruction” used to justify another war of aggression by the U.S. on Iraq.….“ethnic” and “response to the genocide” have been used by both Uganda and Rwanda to justify a war of aggression, waged for economic reasons..... Not coincidentally, Uganda and Rwanda are two of the largest recipients of US and British economic and military assistance in Africa.
Wars initiated by Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, have raged in Central Africa since Museveni’s 1981 invasion to seize power in Uganda, which the Red Cross reported had killed at least 300,000 civilians by the time he took power in 1986"
In February 2007 Bush visited Africa in order to consolidate US military dominance in the region and to elevate the US Africa Command division of the military high command structure to a new level of increased importance.
The Anglo-American Empire has been active all across Africa for a long time now, but largely subject to a blanket blackout in the American and western corporate media.
If Obama's success was to be guaranteed, US involvement in wars in Africa and the 'false flag' terrorism it sponsors there has had to be kept secret from the American electorate for this PSYOP to work itself out.
At the bottom of all this of course lies that old war generator oil, African oil is a now a highly prized spoil of the geopolitical chess game.
According to Horace Campbell, Professor of Political Science at Syracuse University
"The hypocrisy of the US government in this region is manifest in the fact that while there is a major campaign against genocide and against genocidal violence in Darfur, the government of the USA cooperates with the government of the Sudan on the grounds of "intelligence sharing to fight terrorism."
It is in the Sudan where the neo- conservatives are stoking the fires of war in order to get access to the oil resources of the Sudan."
Obama is part of a new American 'charm offensive' in Africa which not only targets the influence of China, but also the European Union on that continent as Campblell has further argued:-
"The
changed realities in the Middle East and in Africa have been
accompanied by a new activist posture of China in Africa. Outmaneuvered
in Asia by China and challenged by the rising democratic forces in Latin
America, the spaces for the accumulation of capital by US capitalists
are dwindling."
"In
the past, when there was a crisis such as the period after the Vietnam
War, the USA could transfer the crisis to other countries via the IMF.
But the European Union has challenged this calculus and created the Euro
as an alternative to the US dollar. It will not be possible for the IMF
to transfer the crisis to Asia, Europe, India, the Middle East or Latin
America. This means that there is only one area of the world where the
US imperialists will have free rein. This is in Africa. It is also in
Africa where there is a movement against the economic terrorism of
neo-liberalism and the unjust conditionalities of the IMF and World
Bank."

In March 2008 US Ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger said:-
"I am very optimistic about the future of Kenya. I believe that Kenyans will turn the crisis they experienced into an historic opportunity for fundamental change. The fact that Kenyans are so friendly toward Americans makes Kenya an attractive place in which to live. I cannot, of course, give you specific investment advice."
Does the above rhetoric sound at all familiar to you?
He went on to note
"As a result of the U.S. partnership with Kenya, about $2billion flows from the U.S. to Kenya each year from official and private sources.
We have pledged an additional $25 million to help Kenya. We will use this to support implementation of the political accord; to support return of displaced to their homes; to expand governance programs; and to support reconciliation efforts.
We have had discussions with the Kenyan government to work out a "safe skies" agreement that would enable Kenyan Airways to fly directly to the U.S.
We know that this would be very helpful for the Kenyan economy.
The 'blood diamond' policy of America toward Africa is to rest the continent predominantly from Chinese economic dominance.
The US foothold in Africa is Kenya for some of the reasons outlined by Ambassador Ranneberger above, but also the election of Barack Obama, his clear and unimpeded run on the White House is driven by the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) perpetual war doctrine to relocate from the Middle East to sub-Saharan Africa during it's next phase.
This map of Chinese investment gives some clues to the underlying aims of the Obama Administration over the next four years and beyond. Presently China remains a key player in the Kenyan economy, but not for much longer the US government hope.
The New Scramble for Africa!
If there is a New Great Game afoot in Asia there is also a "New Scramble for Africa" on the part of the great powers.
The National Security Strategy of the United States of 2002 declared that "combating global terror" and ensuring U.S. energy security required that the United States increase its commitments to Africa and called upon "coalitions of the willing" to generate regional security arrangements on that continent.
Soon after the U.S. European Command, based in Stuttgart, Germany---in charge of U.S. military operations in Sub-Saharan Africa---increased its activities in West Africa, centering on those states with substantial oil production and-or reserves in or around the Gulf of Guinea (stretching roughly from the Ivory Coast to Angola).
The U.S. military's European Command now devotes 70 percent of its time to African affairs, up from almost nothing as recently as 2003.
So while there is dancing in the streets in America and across the world because Barack Obama has seemingly swept away the bad old days of Bush and US militarism, the sad truth is that this event has extended and developed it in the newly promoted African theatre of operations.
And that is why America needed an African-American president so that future surrogate wars there cannot be condemned as 'racist' as they take on increased prominence, with a black Commander in Chief pushing the extermination buttons in Washington how could that be?
A clever PSYOP maybe, but actually a quite transparent effort in reality.... simply not clever enough.
